Corporate Governance
Corporate Governance is an essential element of the operations of EquityLine Mortgage Investment Corporation. To maintain proper governance the Board of Directors has approved and, through its committees, actively monitors all aspects of the business. The board and management believe that accountability and transparency of the Company’s activities are important to increase shareholder confidence, and positively impact the Corporation’s business success.
Governance Committees
The Corporation has several committees dedicated to issues of governance and oversight. They are an Audit Committee, Compensation Committee and an Corporate Governance Committee. There is also an ad-hoc committee responsible for guiding the company’s response to the pandemic. Each committee consists of staff members and directors (related and independent).
